Construction East - plan of action

 We need Construction East to be a hub. Where schools and educators can feed in, and we can review, assist, resource and address. This covers, career advice, work experience and placements, site visits and support to educators for course delivery. From discussions with educators, the industry is supportive. If we can review educators' needs, plan and support delivery this would be much more efficient, beneficial and support and improve the educational offering.

Construction East plan to generate the resources to have a group of approximately 12 people from all across the industry who are willing to present once a quarter. This will allow us to present to 48 schools and colleges a year.

Collaboration and teamwork is the answer.

There is some great work being undertaken in the industry already but we need to be strategic, consistent and increase our coverage. Together we can do this.
