What we have achieved so far

Our first year has been focused on discussion, understanding and building knowledge.

We have met with many Schools and Colleges.

We have discussed with Local Authorities.

We have engaged with industry institutions and professional bodies.

We have developed a detailed paper, which outlines the challenges, the demand and the solution.

We have developed a business plan, that is being used to apply for funding to ensure Construction East is sustainable and successful. We believe Construction East will require funding of circa £250k, to deliver a three-year programme.

We are in the process of registering Construction East as a Charity. Those representing Construction East will be trustees.

We are structuring Construction East so that it can have sustainable benefits to the local industry for generations to come.
